In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Easy public-transport links — Guests single out the metro as just a few metres away and the railway as close by, making the hotel convenient for visiting the centre and for day trips.
  • Filling and well-regarded breakfast — Buffet and continental breakfasts are available, and reviews describe the food as tasty and varied, with one guest highlighting the large selection.
  • Friendly, helpful staff — Repeated guest feedback highlights courteous staff at reception and around the hotel, including one review that calls the service exceptional.
  • Strong value for the price — With rooms from £44 and several guests describing the hotel as good value for money, it offers a reasonable balance of price and quality for a 4-star stay in Rome.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Short check-in window — Arrival is only possible between 14:00 and 17:00, so guests with late flights or trains need to plan around it.
  • Paid parking without a dedicated hotel car park — The hotel lists paid parking, but at least one guest found no dedicated hotel parking and used a space on the street in front, so availability may depend on local street parking.
  • Guest rating below the area average — The hotel's 7.7 review score sits below the area average of 8.7, so while many guests leave satisfied, the overall record is less consistent than the area average implies.
  • The surrounding area can be busy — One guest describes the area as busy, though another notes the hotel sits on a generally quiet street; expect a lively setting rather than total peace and quiet.

“The location was marvellous — a 10 to 15-minute walk from an often-overlooked modern-art gallery. There were a chemist and small supermarkets around the hotel, and our room was large, air-conditioned and had a king bed. Overall, a fantastic location close to the gallery, with handy amenities and comfortable rooms.”

7.7Verified guest

“Breakfast was excellent — savoury and tasty. The location was great, near a lovely church and a cosy French supermarket run by pleasant, very helpful people. The neighbourhood felt very safe, as did the centre.”

7.7Verified guest

“Everything was straightforwardly good. We enjoyed an air-conditioned room with a balcony, and the staff were friendly and affable.”

“The hotel's elegant decor and cosy atmosphere made me feel at home. Vintage furniture in the lobby and common areas added a touch of class. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility — wide corridors and handrails made me feel safe and comfortable.”

7.7Verified guest

“The room was clean with a nice bed, and it was close to the subway and the centre.”

“The location was ideal for us — close to shops, public transport, a good pizzeria and a pleasant cafe. The metro was only a few metres away, and being near Parco della Musica was a bonus as we were attending an event there. There is no hotel parking, but we found a space in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet, the breakfast had a big selection and tasted delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was great value for money and I would happily stay again. For us, it was perfect.”
